Chandra berry 1
I have not been on fotocommunity for quite a few weeks due to my father passing away in April. I had been quite depressed as I have lost an Aunt, Uncle and my Father in less than 3 months. I finally called my model Chandra the other day and did a photo shoot - and what a wonderful release from my sadness a photo session can be. Photography is wonderful therapy - one becomes totally immersed in the moment, focused on the beauty before you and subsequently excited and thrilled yet critical of the results. It has brought me back from a dark abyss and for that I am thankful. Next time depression takes control of your life - pick up that camera and go to work! It will do wonders for your heart, soul and general well being...

John,
First let me extend my heartfelt condolences on your loss. I know it's never easy, I've been through the same situation, when I lost my father, and other people close to me. Time will put a damper on the loss, but it will never go away. I still think about my father, almost every day, and all the good times that we had, and it's been 22 years since he died.
I guess having a model like beautiful Chandra in front of you, eases the pain.
Just keep going, John. Hang in there...don't let yourself fall back into that depression,,,It can kill you, if you let it. It's like you just fell off of a horse, get up, and get right back into the saddle, and go...Don't stand there and just look, otherwise you're in trouble !!!
Anyway, the photo is excellent, like always. ;-)
