Castle ‘Hof ter Linden’ at Edegem (Belgium)
In 1277 there was already a castle on this spot but nobody knows how the old castle looked like because there are no drawings or paintings been preserved.
In 1770 the castle was sold. 3 years later it was completely demolished and rebuilt by the new owner in a fine classicistic style which we can still admire nowadays.
This and next year, a full restoration is planned.
