Castello Aragonese, Capo Rizzuto, Calabria
This castle is located just off Le Castella in the province of Crotone, on the eastern (Ionan) coast of Calabria. Inside one can see the remains of a Greek harbour and Roman edifices. The castello as it stands now was started in the 13th century by the Anjou, and extended in the 14th and 15th century by the Aragons. It stood strong for some time until it was conquered by Khai-ad-din "Barbarossa" in 1536.
The peninsula of Capo Rizzuto is largely a protected marine area.
This photo was taken with my Nikon CP 995 on Nov. 6, 2004.
That's the first picture I put in here, I'm very interested in feedback (auch auf Deutsch).

Ein schönes Fleckchen Kalabrien mit einem empfehlenswerten Fischrestaurant!In diesen alten Mauern (nicht im Restaurant!) stecken viele, viele EU - Euros!

Bildschärfe mal beiseite*gg....sieht unwirklich aus..gefällt mir sehr gut....könnte man bestimmt tolle Kompositionen für Digiart mit machen.LG,
