I love callas, you can see from my gallery that there is more than one shot of this extremely elegant flowers. This is another Black and White composition where I have tried to enhace the pure white of Callas lilies. I believe that these flowers suit particularly well with B&w technique

Yes Gabriela, Mapplethorpe is one of my most favourite photographers, particularly for his flowers and I have tried to catch a little of inspiration from his black and white flower shot. Happy to know from you that I have been successfull to remind in a way, the style and athmosphere of a great Master
Thanks again to all for having appreciated so much this photo, I have a particular feeling with this photo because it is one of my best experiment in black and white. My late father was a very passionate amateur photographer and he was so fond an talented in B&W
This photo is dedicated to him.

MUCHAS GRACIAS, I can not (unfortunately) say a lot in your beautiful language but I really appreciate your kind comments on my B&W photo. I am particularly fond of Black and White and I am trying to experimenting this technique that, with flowers like Callas lilies, is to my opinion very fascinating.
I am happy that this particular photo found so many nice comment in the Spanish section of FOTOCOMMUNITY because I have found fantastic photographers here to learn from.
