busy!
Just to give you an impression of how busy the station/junction of Mannheim Friedrichsfeld can be, here a pic seen from the same point but looking north.
A push-pull stopping train Heidelberg bound leaves the station side by side with an intermodal train, Basel bound, while to the left another freight awaits the green block after having changed engine crews. Another engine stands idle at the head of another train, still waiting for a new driver, and, to the extreme left, a brandnew diesel waits for her duty on track-laying trains.
On the same moment, on my back, another two trains approached the junction from the south, one a semi-fast from Heidelberg, the other a northbound freight slowing down for a crew change.
