Burma Spider Woman
In Myanmar’s mountainous and hard-to-reach Chin State, near Kampetlet, more than 1400m high, the ethnic minority women are renowned for their remarkable face tattoos. Only a handful of older women proudly display their facial tattoos and called the "Spider Women". The practice is now not allowed by the Burmese authorities hence the reason this part of Chin culture is dying out fast.
