Bot of Wat Phrathat Chom Tong
Wat Phrathat Chom Tong is located in Mae Sariang County, or to be precise, on the east side of the county. It is only 1 kilometre away but many steps up to an hill. Therefore, to get there, thi visitor should head for Mae Sariang County first. It is well known for storing a part of Lord Buddha's relics, which villagers love to come around and pay respect. If is another holy and respectable religious place of the town.
The Bot or also called Phra Ubosot is the main prayer room and one of the most important structures of the wat. This is the building where monks get ordained. It is also used for other important temple rituals.
