Interesting comments from Holger... I tend to agree but I especially am a beginner and still learning. I think the concept is powerful and beautiful.

It is a nice photo but suffers from technical problems which may keep it out of the gallery. I know some critics would complain that the arms are partially cut off and the person is not fully centered. Also, there is a considerable amount of noise (grain) in the image; although it is barely visible it is more noticable at the shoulder level. A low pass filter/ operator should easily remove that. At the right side below the shoulder is part of the background visible. That dark spot should be removed. The lighting is a problem because it throws a shadow on the left side of the image, along the inside of the arm. I find that distracting and would have croped more of the bottom of the image to completely elliminate the shadow. The blind fold is a nice concept. Regards Holger
