Black Cherry Plum
Nature has started to show the spring beauty in all its glory !
The small pink blossoms in this shot belong to the Black Cherry plum.
After flowering, dark burgundy colored leaves appear on the tree, later maturing to dark green.
Edible, dark red and spherical fruits are decorating this tree in autumn.

German name : Blutpflaume
Latin name : Prunus cerasifera nigra
