Beet Plant in B&W.
Another in my series of night shots at the beet plant. As a twist though, I tried converting to b&w, and thought it looked pretty good. D50 and 18-55mm kit lens.

Dennis, I shot in Manual Mode, and adjusted my camera to an aperature of f/16. I then saw that the light meter was telling me that a 15 second shutter speed would give me a correct exposure. I made the adjustment, used the self-timer with my camera on a tripod, and got a nice shot. I converted it to b&w, adjusted the lightness a bit, and voila'. Glad you like it.
