Baujahr 1380-1410
Im gotischen Stil wurde die Kirche seinerzeit von Häuptling Haro Edzardsna erbaut. Im Jahre 1401 wurde die Kirche von Papst Bonifatius IX bestätigt.

Das ist ja faszinierend, dass es dereinst in Ostfriesland "Häuptlinge" gegeben hat, bis jetzt habe ich dabei nur an Indianer und Afrikaner gedacht! ;-)Liebe Grüße
