Bass Harbor Light at Dusk
This lighthouse, located at Acadia National Park near Bar Harbor, Maine, is a favorite of local photographers. I'll have to admit, I was a bit disappointed when I took this shot. I imagined that the sunset would be perfect that night--it was stunning just about everywhere I looked, but there was not enough detail in the sky at Bass Harbor that evening. However, with a little enhancement from Photoshop, it turned out to be a better shot than I originally thought.

Great image, Timothy!This is my favorite place when visiting Maine´s Coast.
We usually go there once or twice when beeing on vacation. The only thing is - you got to be there in time, otherwise you run into masses of photographers and their tripods...
