Bad timing
2 weeks ago the first white storks returned to Belgium from their African winter area.
This week winter strikes back here with frost and snow showers and that is of course a big problem for the stork in the nest.
The poor chap.......

Very uncommon image of a nesting stork in a snowy envirement, hopefully he is able to manage these extreme weather conditions.Great colors, contrast and sharpness!

Storks that return so early didn't make it to Africa.The garbage dumps in Spain provide them with plenty of food.
