@ fredi: danke für die informationen. hatte vor ein paar wochen das "achtung baby" album in der hand und bei einen der der vielen inlay fotos aus berlin von anton corbijn fand ich eines mit dem u2 schild. dachte es gäbe da zusammenhänge...hätte da wohl genauer nachforschen sollen ;-)Fredi Gyger 27/06/2009 11:03
Achtung, Baby: Tolles Bild, jedoch ziehe auch ich die Geschichte mit der Inspiration in Zweifel... Hingegen war eine Haltestelle der heutigen U2-Linie Inspiration für einen U2-Song:(Aus Wikipedia) The 1991 U2 song "Zoo Station" was inspired by the station, which in turn inspired their Zoo TV tour and the album Zooropa. It should be noted that although the Berlin U-Bahn line U2 passes through the station, it was numbered U1 at the time; a rearrangement and renumbering of the line took place in November 1993, when the section linking it to the remainder of the line in former East Berlin was reopened.
