a touch of SCOTLAND - lighthouse
Das lighthouse am Neist Point ist 19 m hoch und wurde von David Alan Stevenson erbaut.
In Dienst gestellt wurde es 1909 und ist immer noch aktiv, allerdings wurde er 1990 automatisiert.
Er markiert mit seinem Leuchtfeuer den westlichsten Punkt der Halbinsel Neist Point "geflügelte Insel", wie es übersetzt bedeutet.

Oh, schön, daß du dieses Bild zeigst.Wir wollten dieses Jahr auch zum Leuchtturm, aber die Zeit hat nicht für alles gereicht.
