A guide
...10 centuries ago in the northern region of central India, the Chandela dynasty kings built their capital city, Khajuraho. A village today, it is famous for its "so-called" Kamasutra temples. 20 out of original 85 remain standing today, most of them spread around the village. We met this boy while we were having our breakfast in the bar and he stayed with us during the whole day, leading the way to each single temple. He showed us his tiny local school with no classrooms. The kids were sitting on the ground under the tent-like roof and there was a 20 years old rotten map of the political world attached to the wall. The children knew where Poland was, showing it on the map right next to the USSR (they knew the latter no longer exists)...
At the end, our guide took us home for a cup of chai...
