This impressive building, the Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore (Basilica of Saint Mary of the Flower) was erected from 1296 to 1436 and other than our todays buildings its still there, over 600 years old!
The Cathedral Complex ist part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the historic center of Florence.
