Psarades village (for further information please refer to the previous photo of the series. Thank you very much)

Psarades is the biggest village in the region situated exactly on the border lake. The village is extremely poor with many houses on the verge of collapse. The older houses, of the 50ties or 60ties were primitively built mainly with stones and wood and it is quite interesting to observe the simplicity of their architecture which offers very little comfort either during the very cold winter or extremely hot summer. But there are couple of tavernas where one can taste fresh fish and cheer himself with a bit of ouzo.... In the recent years turism has helped considerably the region.
In the photo one can have an idea of the houses and also an old and traditional open air oven can also be seen where bread and food were baked until recently...

great compo and strong textures..the scene has a little threatening mood but could be because of the tones..
I like the lady in the corner..kind of vulnerable...
