The prayer wheel

Tibet
Lasa
Mounting every morning all the way to the sacred Potala, like our going to the church, is turned to a sort of ritual by the Tibetans turning, on their way, the fixed golden prayer wheels together with smaller they hold in hand, a special manner to pray and direct a wish to God.The turning cylinder of the prayer wheel contains a paper roll on which Buddhist texts are printed.
