: ))) oh, must have missed this image before!! love its tongue-in-cheek humor: "realism" indeed! ; ) the flamingo is posing so gracefully, so patiently for his portrait – or so he thinks! –, that he will be shattered, when discovering that the artist is really painting something quite different: walls, windows, angles… but no feathers, no elegancy! tears will run down his beak and soak the billboard… shhh, no, let's not tell him! let's just pretend the painter is painting him on a rock, making him look as iconically beautiful as the famous mona lisa! ; )) greetings, sabine. p.s.: i do love the correspondence between the artist's dramatic gray lock and the black one of the flamingo – they are two of a kind after all! and besides: l'illusione armonizza il tuo corpo e la tua mente! ; ))Tania Skaradek 31/01/2014 7:36
Very nice portrait! Like an artist, and what he draws.I can imagine from his drawing what a beautiful vista he is seeing.
