I have taken these three images on our sailing trip a few weeks ago. We have to cross ca. 35km of open water across the Georgia Strait from Vancouver to the first of the Gulf Islands. That day we could not sail but had to motor .... it was so calm - and this stretch of water can have big waves.

And yes, I have played around with the colours and was happy with what emerged - I did no other editing.

what beautiful colors! love how it's starting out dark pink in the very foreground, and then becoming lighter and lighter the further we look towards the horizon, as though the "original pinks" are rising from the depths to be "thinned down" as soon as they reach the surface of the water… hugs, sabine.

I ADORE the pinks and purples Adele, and also the softness of the water. There is excellent detail in the gentle ripples making it feel so calm and relaxing. I am saving it into my favourites to look at when I need to think calming thoughts!!....
