Winter hike on the heathland (4)
Last week we had a few cold frosty days with plenty of sunshine. Ideal to make a winter hike on the ‘Kalmthoutse Heide’, even without snow.
The ‘Kalmthoutse Heide’ is one of the greatest National Parks of Belgium with many fens, heathland, inland dunes and vast forests.
A profound silence ruled above the vast and desolate landscape.
All was quiet over there and as still as a mouse.
