Phlox
The Phlox plant is native to North America.
In Europe it’s a cultivated garden plant, but I found this specimen growing and blooming in the great outdoors.
Probably coming from a seed gone with the wind…….
Dutch name : Vlambloem
German name : Hohe Stauden-Phlox
Latin name : Phlox paniculata

it's a beautiful specimen! so many "new settlers" in our flora and fauna these days! this phlox here seems pretty and harmless, though ; ))… when i was a child we used to have huge black slugs in our backyard that always came out during the rain. nowadays it seems there's only orange and brown ones left… a great shot, mark! love the different kinds of pink – they make the petals look as though they're blushing ; ))! greetings, sabine.Werner R.
