Horse-chestnut
In spring the Horse-chestnut blooms in a remarkable abundant way. The white flowers with a blotch of yellow and red are produced in erect panicles up to 30cm. tall and with about 20-50 flowers on each panicle.
Dutch name : Paardekastanje
German name : Gewöhnliche Rosskastanie
Latin name : Aesculus hippocastanum

A very beautiful image with these blossoms against the blue sky - so sharp you can see the tiny wings of the bee. My whole street is lined on both sides with mature horse chestnut trees - a splendid sight!greetings, Adele
