a picture that makes van gogh go posthumously pale, wishing he'd chosen the rudbeckia rather than the sunflower to star in his famous painting! ; ))) love their warm, somewhat bleached, sunshiny looks, which i usually associate with september, as that's the month they are in full bloom in our garden! the sheer abundance of them in your picture is beautiful!! in our yard they are "loners" ; )), far less "outgoing" and always hiding solo in dark corners – hard to photograph, i always deliberately blur them… but your picture here is so much better!! greetings, sabine. p.s.: i like the detail of the cheeky daisies "peeking" aross the protagonists' shoulders!Harald Kreis, 31.05.2012 at 9:29h
