to paddle down the "RIVER OF GOLDEN DREAMS " (this really is its name) in Whistler - of Winter Olympics fame. This river is very narrow, very shallow and overhung by low branches. My family of 11 and dog Diego had a blast going on it in canoes and this kayak - it's already a year ago.

very inviting indeed – a cool oasis! so nice to look at on this hot, hot day! and just great that you mentioned whistler and the winter olympics, too – now i can imagine some refreshing snow to go with it ; ))! only a little, though – still remember too much of it from last winter ; ))… love the colors, the bright royal blue and lush light-green! must have been great fun to paddle down the river with your party of 12 ; ))! have a great sunday, too, adele! hugs, sabine.
