While strolling in the immense Techran medina taking shots, enjoying sights, sounds and all sort of ackward smells, I was involved in a little chat with a merchant. He told me that he continued the trade for years after taking it from his father and his son will, most probably carry it on in the years to come...He added that the medina trade is a harsh and very competitive business and in order a merchant to survive has to accept certain facts that gradually become rules in his life. These are abundance and variety of items in his shop, long expectancy and patience to sell them, fierce bargaining for a better and more profitable trade but, most of all, passive endurance and acceptance of whatever end God may offer to his day...
Is he wrong?

It seems that he does have a great diversity of things to sell and barter to make a living. There does not seem to be an empty space anywhere.
An excellent scene and well lit with emphasis on the merchant and his customer.
