Some miles southwest from Rye, Winchelsea Beach proffer a lovely area for walkers,
for photographers, for fishers
- and for sheep on the other side of the dam :-)
One of the best impressions -which is my personal opinion- I saw at David Purdie's Gallery in High Street. Thanks for this inspiring walk when we met by chance, David!

Beim Bummel durch Rye, High Street kommt man an David Purdie's Gallerie kaum vorbei. Ich finde seine Aufnahmen begeisternd - und bin am nächsten Tag zum Winchelsea Beach hinausgefahren, weil - nur bei Ebbe gelingen solche Aufnahmen wie hier. Und wie es der Zufall wollte, trafen wir David, der dort auch gerade mit Kamera unterwegs war ;-)
