White Water

What Kayakers and Canoeists call "White Water" is not usually this white,
but this river in British Columbia, Canada gives credit to the name "White Water"!
The photo was taken at the base of Takkakaw Falls in Yoho National Park.
Takkawkaw is the Cree Indian word for "awesome".
I have never seen "white water" this white before, but then, no one
has ever seen water as emerald as that of Emerald Lake in the same Park!

I can well remember my trips to BC and the awe I felt in viewing waters such as this. Thanks for sharing.
