No it is not......

....the south-end of a north bound polar bear!!!
....it is actually an edible white fluffy fungi that I discovered on a trip to the Bald Knob National wildlife Refuge......

That's OK - if I want to believe it's a polar bear ;-)
But seriously, a captivating, eye-grabbing image. I like the way it stands out from the darker elements, yet is rich in detail, also the sense of scale provided by the smaller fungi.

I have never seen a fungi like this Den, it looks just like a fur hat, the detail is excellent.
