The Magpie Inkcap is a striking shaped fungus with an unpleasant smell that grows usually in beech forests.
The shot shows a young specimen that looks a bit like a chocolate Easter egg…..
A rare species !
Dutch name : Spechtinktzwam
German name : Spechttintling (auch Elsterntintling genannt)
Latin name : Coprinus picaceus

Excellent, Mark! Der Tintling ist wirklich wunderschön und dann die Blätter und Bucheckernhüllen in dieserbrillianten Schärfe, das Ganze ergibt ein Kunstwerk!
