About me
I'm not half as serious as you could guess from the self portrait. I like the fun of taking photos and spending hours and hours treating them with photoshop. I am happy owner of the superb Canon D10 and shoot everything that is not offended by being shot at. I like shooting portraits, but I am not restricted to them. The technique of shooting and processing is clear to me...but I am perfectly aware that art is something different. Thus I am always happy about criticism that helps me developing. Most of the time I am looking for the great pictures in the gallery - thanks for all the great pictures in there.

I like to improve. Because of that I upload my photos here. Be honest with me - a "nice picture" critique is sure nice to read (yes, I like them very much) but a "I would improve this and that" email helps me more.
Keep this in mind - I always try to look for the things to improve in others' pictures. And since I am not god, I most likely am sometimes wrong...

Thanx for the positive comment. . .The cool look i made with several PS layers, using the black and white layers together with the coloured layers, just changing the opacity of each layer.
And of course take back a litlle of the saturation levels in each layer. . . .

Thanks for the nice comment. But no it is not unhealthy.The steam is to 100% Watersteam. No emissions. It’s a very modern power station.
in former times the emissions came from chimney but they pull down. The two you see on the pic
dont exist to this time.

thanks for ur comment,i tried the pictures with differenttypes of contrast ,this was one version,maybe it could be slightly abit more,but with the black skin it seemed to look
better with not too much black .i did some prints with baryth they are
with higher contrast .how do u work on contrasts in photoshop ?

Thank you for the visit!!!Yes, That was a scan! I prefer dont use photoshop in my photos cuz I thing it changes what was there when I shot it! But when I scan it loses quality but I prefer to keep it anyway.
But everybody have an opinium about that!

Hi Holger,it´s creek water, like all the rest of the series,caught with high shuttspeed and with ever changing reflections from the rocks below, and the sky and trees above the surface.
Not every liquid substance in Bavaria is beer ;-)
There´s some nice Pictures in your Site too.
