How to blend multiple images?
I'm trying to combine two shots for this picture. I shot the foreground upto the tree and farm horizon and the mountain and sky individually with different settings. Anyone have ideas on how I can reconsile the two to give a better blended effect?

I wanted to move the mountain, am I just trying to figuratively move mountains? There has to be a technique. This is a new thing I'm trying.

try to feather the two together more than you have Wen.
go to select-feather-100-150 pixels
then Select-midify-expand 5
also go to layers-matting-defringe
this may work better
good luck

What does the Layers/Matting/Defringe actually do?

place the image with the sky and mountains on top. Apply a layer mask. Use a black to transparent gradient. Apply the gradient to the mask by going from top to bottom. Adjust the gradient if necessary
talk to me at the next meet up. I have some ideas. Jeff
