The Living Forest (377) : Harebell
The harebell is a delicate, beautiful plant with wonderful bell-shaped wild flowers.
It tolerates a huge range of soil pH and thus can be find in both acid heaths and calcareous grasslands.
According to an old folk belief, picking a harebell would attract thunderstorms…..
