Meerechsen sind nach dem Tauchgang ausgekühlt. Daher ist so eine Welle eine willkommene Unterstützung, um wieder an Land zu kommen, wo man sich aufwärmen kann. Schwarze Haut, schwarze Felsen und Äquatorsonne sind dabei sehr hilfreich.
