Pavement Artisan
Typical Portuguese pavement aplications in Basalt and Limestone can be found not only in Continental Portugal but also in the Atlanti provinces or at many other places across the Cointinents. Rio de Janeiro, New York, Sidney, Macau, etc. have pedestrian areas made by the Portuguese workers. In Lisbon there is a school where you become graduate on this very special art of stone works.
In this case we are in Funchal, Madeira Island.
