This picture has been chosen from a unique mixture of photography and monochrome art, which we would like to point out because of the creativity hidden in this work.
This picture caught our eyes because of the particular posing of the model and the post-editing. The picture looks like made from an old photographic plate. The image has been turned into art and is an example for photography being more than pressing a shutter release button. The photographer is building a bridge between photography as an technical imaging instrument and creative art.

twisting proportions… changing shape… transcending the limits of the frame, like some kind of dream, vision or ghost… the semi-material stuff that moods, frights and premonitions are made of… the entire intense series: it makes me think of e. a. poe, of rich and dark southern gothic horror, of carnival and mardi gras, of fables and circusses, of things mortal and immortal… not sure why, but that's the way it is – fascinating!! ; ) greetings, sabine.
