This woman I met when we came to the Cattle-Craal in Jie-Land (Kotido-District) for the first time.
Over and over again I am overwhelmed by the beauty of the people around me. No make-up, no facelifting, no cremes, no body building, no proper nutrition, and still so beautiful and warm hearted.
The scarification is typical for this tribe. Mostly women have it, but even some men can be found.
Mostlikely it is done in the face but it can even be all over the upper body.

Sogar ein kleines Lächeln konntest du ihr entlocken. Ich finde sie auch sehr beeindruckend. Ich konnte vor kurzem in Hamburg auf einem Afrika-Festival auch wieder viele ausdrucksvolle Gesichter sehen und bin immer wieder fasziniert.LG, Ursula
