Did you take this photo in the Henry Ford Museum? I once saw that chair standing there.
Anyway: very interesting photo, a tragic bit of history.

Brings back old memories. We used to go to Ford's Theater often. We weren't there when Lincoln got shot though. But we did see Mark Twain and Will Rogers there. Oh, OK, it was Hal Holbrook and James Whitmore, but they sure looked like Mark Twain and Will Rogers.
