Bakar batu

In a small village, somewhere in Papua, this people were quite busy with their weekly "party". They make a big fire and put stones on top of it. When the stones are hot they put them in a big (oil) drum and put vegetables, potatoes and meat on top of it. Bakar batu means something like burned stones.

    a nice document. There aren't so many turis who visit Irian Jayah. Is this a recent picture?
