A photo that would have been even better with a better camera. I did win a yearly contest with it though, so I'm happy with it.

It doesn't matter if you have hight-tech or cheapest camera - the true is the one who takes photo is you, not your equipment. Of course having very good lenses is an advantage, but in most it is independent of body. In your picture it is clear that the above statement is true - this sight if fantastic and breathtaking especially as I like such misty places. Good composition, wonderful colors. Great!Regards

Can see why you won an award with it. Actually come of my best photography was done with low tech cameras. Everything really works for this picture - how it draws your eye, the balance, the reflection, curves, and the foggy focus.
