one cold winter afternoon

this is a picture of one gypsy boy whom I met on one winter afternoon sitting on the ground counting money that he "earned" that day. unfortunately he supposed to be at school at that time and not on the streets collecting some money to please and not to make his parents angry...many of his age and ethnicity are doing the same.parents send them to beg, to bring home money and not want them to go to school. and many of that kids would like to go to school and what is the worst by croatian law every kid needs to finish primary school, but noone in state is really doing anything, and many of these kids will never finish school and they'll probably do the same thing to their kids as their parents did to them...
