This is a series of breastfeeding women and their children. I am in the process of getting them ready for "national breastfeeding awareness week". The aim of these pictures is to show that breastfeeding is something natural and beautiful, and not at all something to be ashamed of. Any comments/ suggestions/ critiques would be greatly appreciated, as these photos will be going up in shops at the end of next week (so i still have time to change things ;o))

thanks Cees. B'reastfeeding is something I feel very strongly about, and I thought shooting breastfeeding women might be a way of making more people aware that it is indeed something natural and beautiful, and nothing to be ashamed of (and soo much better than formula..) These pictures and more will be going up in shops in Bath, Bristol and London for national breastfeeding awareness week. Of the pictures i have put onto the FC so far only the lady on this picture is a friend of mine. The others all came through word of mouth. There are still some more photos which I am not quite finished with yet though. I agree that high key works best in this picture, I have been trying and trying to get it right in the others, but haven't been able to quite get there. Maybe I'll play around with them some more later, or maybe they jsut need something totally different. Any comments are more than welcome.

Excellent idea, Petra, this serie. It`s very intimate, but also very natural.
I think this one is the best in the serie, what composition concerns. Also the high-key works the best here. Great Job !!!
Are those women friends of you??
