Where is the fun???

a friend of mine (the one on the bike above) says:

the fun starts when you start running a marathon (42.125 km) after you swam 3.8 km and cycled about 180 km ...

so where is the fun??? do they have volunteers telling jokes in the area where they change from cycling to running??? Krusty the Clown, maybe???

are there some triathletes out there???

mark ... i consider everybody mad who even starts the swimming ... ;-)))

but you're right ... i guess it's mostly mental power which keeps them in track ... and i admire that power very much ... (although they could do so much useful things with it ... hahahaha)

lol, seiously, you have to be mental to want to do one of these, or really trying to prove something to someone! The fun begins as soon as the insanity begins, right? Thats what your friends saying right? After all that swimming and cycling you have to be a little mad to run.
But anyway, great photo by the way!
