Delhi, India - A muslim faithfuls sleeping in the courtyard of the Jama Masijd, the biggest India's mosque
Nikon F100, Nikkor 80-200mm, Ektachrome E100 VS. Edit in PS with KPT Sky Effects, Auto FX Mystical Lighting and by adding a bird shilouette in the replaced sky
Excelente Fotografia. Yo tambien algunas veces uso mistical FX. Hay otro sotware de FX para los retratos, yo no lo tengo pero si tienes posibilidad deberias probarlos, son muy buenos. Por cierto...queria proponerla para la galeria pero mi cupo es para el 18 recien.
I agree with the previous comments but am almost sure that I would have preferred your photo without the bird... The situation would have been magic enough without it.
Great picture.Good use of the arcade to use it as a border. Great job you did to use Mystical Lightning. Very effective and on his place in this picture.
Greetings, Cees
The bird looks like it belongs to the original shot, but the sun rays loook very digital. But I understand, why all these improvements were done by Sergio. The image has got a really dreamy, fabelous look.
Anyway I have to agree with Paul&Ruud and vote Contra this time.
This is an amazing pic. But i fully agreed with Paul and Ruud, Sergio your pics are known for original potraits, they are wonderful and speaks without any additional effects. SORRY
this shot is one of my favorites ... maybe your best up to now (for my personal taste only,of course)
why? ... because it covers a street situation and the photographer took the time for grafic composition ...
so this picture includes at least 2 levels of photography - street documentation and graphics ( and I'm biased for shots with graphics ...)
so far so good - well done !
BUT !!! :-)
For God's sake ... why did you add the bird and that!!! kitschy background ??? .. I can't understand ! ? :-)))
the pic losses at lot ... this is not the unclouded and digital-editing-free sergio-view we all like ... not the way of a documentary-photographer ...
I know that a lot of people are trying to enhance their pics that way ... maybe it's necessary for them ... but for sure not yours ! :-)
close to this fact your photographs look fresh and honest and were always outstanding from the mass ... "good old workmanship" from a very very skilled photographer ... and that is what people enjoyed so much ...
however ... you put the pic in the digital editing section and this is for sure no criticism - ONLY a feedback from a friend
and to be with the english philosopher william blake : ... I wouldn't die for that opinion - maybe I'm wrong :-))))
Many thanks to all the members which voted on this image: I really enjoy that you liked it so much.
@R. Marass. I really enjoy your honest comment. Yes, you are right, but I can't post only the same kind of photos: I have a lot of such street/people pics. So, first I have, as a professional, the need to differentiate my portfolio and after I learned that many members of the photocommunities don't like to see always the same works from an author. However, my digital editings are a very small part of my work and I always choose the less interesting shots for the digital improvement.
congrats!!.... due to the fact that I cannot vote in COM I' ve only the possibility to express and comment with my words how and what I feel seing your photos.... regards, D.
very nice one. I was there too. it´s a nice place. The people came to me to have a picture with them and me on it. Very funny. The contrast was great: 1,60m indian people with black hair, dark skin and 1,80m german guy with blond hair, white skin (and looking very funny due to my dress --> covering my legs). This is going in my favourites, for sure...
Ciao Valentina
ciao Sergio! questa la vedo solo ora spolverando un po all' indietro.
una bella scena colta con un' occhio che vede ben oltre alla foto materiale congratulazioni !
ciao. Luca
