Rumble-Grumble in the woods
Golden sunlight paints the scene
Bambi, Thumper, and their friends
Scamper from the great machine.

Not that he would cause them harm
Long as they avoid his track
But of his presence he must warn
And blasts the quiet with his horn.

With his partner, running light,
Back to where they’ll find their load
Through these woods they’ll rumble-grumble
But they’ll come back with a roar
And haul their freight towards Baltimore.

light on the Winchester Branch at Harpers Ferry, West Virginia on this late afternoon in May.
