An evocation of small town Americana,
the white frame house in the shade of the old maple on the front lawn…
a spacious front porch, a rocking chair, and Old Glory proudly displayed.

Can you smell the freshly baked pumpkin pie cooling on a window sill?

yes, we can! smell the freshly baked pumkin pie, i mean ; ))! autumn on the porch – the pumpkin-colored maple looks gorgeous! – and underneath it, too: i can hear a 'possum behind the wooden rack, scrabbling at it from the inside, testing its durability, then settling for a quick marsupial snooze in the shade of the orange leaves – a potential refuge to come home to in the cold of winter? ; )))… greetings, sabine.
