If Cameras Could Talk...
Ever wonder what those old brass-and-bellows "geezers" on the shelf
might say amongst themselves about all this new-fangled digital technology?
I did, as I viewed the ol' soldiers sitting proudly, if somewhat forlornly,
in the display window of Oehling Camera in Mainz.
And, with apologies to those more fluent in German than I, here's what they're supposed to be saying:
"Ach, Di-gi-tahlll...Nonsense...B-S...P'tui!"
"Right, Fritz! Just a fad!"
