Those few scarlet berries of this Whitebeam tree are probably one of the last present in the forest at this time of the year.

Whitebeam berries are generally less palatable (drier, little juicy) then most other wild berries.
Birds do eat them, but only at the end of winter when most other food has been consumed

Dutch name : Meelbes
German name : Echte Mehlbeere
Latin name : Sorbus aria

Blossom and berries of whitebeam use for treat for an illness of heart...
I like to eat these berries(little) an autumn...like birds...:-)) Trully,they are less palatable..,without taste..
