Directional light casts great illumination and creates even deeper shadows in this dramatic portrait. Location has loads of urban textures, stains and pre-existing storylines just from it's structure and age. Subject is lit so dynamically, and the hint of color in her jeans adds just enough to satisfy the eye.Beautiful image,

its about urban decay.on the figure side, yes, there is no detail. its 'de-personalizing', you have to destroy the character traits, either by blurred motion, or by burning out the details. thats the intention behind urban decay. for sure bauhaus is too rounded, and dada is not uniform. in contrast to the figure, the details are very strong in the environment, texture-wise its rich and striking. thanks, burak.Frank Cecconi, 27.10.2007 at 14:03h
